In 1992, OAC was registered with the government as a charitable organization. that works to advance the welfare of society’s economically disadvantaged. To enhance the quality of service to society, we have established four tailoring institutes to teach poor women sewing. skills completely free of charge. Students may be of any caste or religion. Up to 120 graduates Each year, they find employment, and some start their own little sewing businesses. This helps them provide for their families and come out of poverty. Few, if any, could afford this training. Some come from dysfunctional homes. Husbands are alcoholics. Some have even contemplated suicide. Lives are being changed. Our qualified teachers provide friendship and counseling. All the women are extremely grateful for our training.
